Jon Reed Ministries began in the Summer of 2004. This ministry was birthed out of a desire to ignite the fires of evangelism within the context of the local church as well as encourage the existing leadership in the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

Our primary focus is bringing the revivals back into the life of our churches. In a world that continues to distort the message of the cross, it is our prayer that God will enable us to encourage churches to return to biblical evangelism by equipping the saints to boldly share the gospel message to this lost and dying world.

11-23-07 – Mission trip to Kerala, India with e3 Partners
Jon Reed will be travelling to the beautiful Southern Indian state of Kerala on a missions trip with e3 Partners. Kerala has a long and rich history of the Gospel in the south, but the northern half of the state is primarily animistic Hindu. We will be partnering with an existing church to do village evangelism and discipleship that will form the core of several new church starts. Translators will be helping us to communicate the timeless message of the Gospel in a relevant way to the population there. We ask you to please be in prayer for our team by utilizing this prayer schedule.

"In every generation God raises up men He uses to bring men to Christ and the church to a passion for those who need Christ. Jon Reed is one of those men. He is passionate, compassionate and committed to the Biblical ministry of Evangelism. I have used Jon at Hebron and will again. I recommend Jon Reed to any pastor who desires to see His church excited about seeing people come to Christ."

Larry Wynn, Senior Pastor
Hebron Baptist Church, Dacula, GA.

"Like many Pastors, I need to be encouraged to stay consistent with evangelism. God can even use a lunchtime conversation with a waiter to remind me of the need to stay fresh, focused, and faithful. So, isn't it just like God to send along Jon Reed? Just when you thought that communicating the gospel was routine, random, and risky, God puts a passionate soulwinner in your life.

The simple approach God gave Jon really combines all the tools we've used and become careless or bored with using. With a humble attitude and lots of energy, Jon spent a day teaching our staff a simple process of building intentional friendships, making prayer the priority, and exposing people to the gospel. Has it come to that? We're back to the basics and Jon is refreshing.

By the way, he is a powerful communicator of the gospel. He managed the pulpit well when he spoke recently at our church and was totally focused on Jesus and souls. His depth did not eclipse his application. Y'all need to bring Jon to your church. It will bring you back. I needed it. Maybe you do too."

Russ Shinpoch, Pastor
First Baptist Church, Snellville, GA.

"The first time I heard the voice of Jon Reed was not in a pulpit, but rather at a car wash. As he spoke on his phone with someone I noted sincerity, compassion, and love in his words and tone and felt compelled to speak with him because he sounded like a follower of my Lord. Sure enough, he was. Long story, short: Jon and I struck up a friendship that day and he is now one of a handful of preachers that I confidently welcome into the pulpit of Meadow Baptist.

His passion to help pastors and churches reignite the commitment to win the unsaved to Christ is exactly what our congregation - and their pastor - needed. He is not the type of evangelist who comes in to wow the brethren, collect a check, and move on. He invests in our church before, during, and after each of the meetings with prayer, follow up, and the desire to see God change our congregation.

Each time Jon has come our people have made commitments in the areas of which Jon spoke, and our church has seen ongoing fruit since then. Forgive me if it sounds selfish but I will be welcoming Jon Reed back to Meadow more than once in the upcoming year.not so much to support his ministry, but to strengthen the one God has given me. Pastor to pastor: Jon is God's man and your flock needs what Jon is saying."

Jeff Lyle , Senior Pastor
Meadow Baptist Church, Duluth, GA.
